To register for or log in to your Get Covered Illinois broker portal account, follow the below instructions.
If you already have an account:
- If you know your account login information, go to GetCoveredIllinois.gov and click Log in or log in here. Please not that this is NOT the same login as used for the Get Covered Illinois Learning Management System.
- If you received an email from us with the subject “An account has been created for you on Get Covered Illinois,” use the unique link in that email to claim your Get Covered Illinois broker portal account.
To ensure a smooth transition to our state-based marketplace, Get Covered Illinois pre-registered accounts for many brokers currently working with Illinois residents on HealthCare.gov. Even if you haven’t taken any action with Get Covered Illinois before, you may already have a pre-registered broker account associated with your National Producer Number (NPN). You must use that pre-registered account.
If you do not have an account:
And you are part of a broker agency that works with one or more brokers:
- First, check with your colleagues to find out if anyone else in your agency registered for or logged into a Get Covered Illinois broker account. If they have, DO NOT CREATE A NEW AGENCY. Contact your colleague with the Agency Manager account and have them add you as a new broker to your existing agency account.
- After confirming that no one else in your agency has already registered for or logged into a Get Covered Illinois broker account, register here and register your agency. You will be the Agency Manager who will be able to add other brokers into your agency portal.
Or you are an independent broker that doesn’t work with any other brokers:
- Register here and register your agency. You’ll create an agency of one where you will be the sole broker.
Whether you are an independent broker or part of a larger agency with multiple other brokers, Get Covered Illinois’ broker portal uses an agency model to provide robust functionality for brokers to manage not only their own book of business but also their agency’s book of business.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT create a customer account by going to "Enroll" and "Create Account."
