There are several coverage options available for students:
- You can enroll in a student health plan, if you qualify.
- If you are currently enrolled in a student health plan, you can still qualify for coverage, with financial assistance, through Get Covered Illinois if you apply during Open Enrollment or during a Special Enrollment Period (SEP), if you qualify.
- If you're under 26 and living in the same state as your parents: You can be included on your parent's application. Your parent can add you during Open Enrollment (or during a Special Enrollment Period, if they qualify).
- If you're under 26 and go to school in Illinois, you can still be included on your parent’s plan, or you can enroll in coverage through Get Covered Illinois on your own.
