That’s where Get Covered Illinois makes it easy! Get Covered Illinois applicants who receive a notice that they are potentially eligible for Medicaid/All Kids do NOT need to submit another application. Their initial application submitted through Get Covered Illinois will be transferred to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) for a Medical Assistance eligibility determination. The HFS Office will review their application and may request additional verification from the individual if necessary to make a final eligibility determination.
