Does Get Covered Illinois allow mid-month policy terminations?

The Get Covered Illinois system only allows mid-month terminations in the circumstance of death, birth, or adoption. 

If your coverage has already started and you would like to terminate your coverage for a reason other than death, birth, or adoption, you can prospectively terminate your coverage:

• at the end of the month following your termination request,
• or the end of the next month. 

You will need to pay your premium through the end of the month you terminate coverage.
