The same eligibility rules apply for coverage through Get Covered Illinois as they did on HealthCare.gov. All Illinois residents who are otherwise eligible, will be able to enroll in coverage through Get Covered Illinois during the open enrollment period, which begins on November 1, 2025, and runs through January 15, 2026. Illinois residents experiencing a qualifying life event may be able to enroll outside of open enrollment using a special enrollment period.
